Siblings

Watching my two awesome kids bond and become siblings has been an amazing experience. Davey had 8 days to get used to the idea of a sister. He wasn't even 3 years old yet and we randomly sprung it on him that he was now a big brother. That's all the time we had once we found out we were chosen to be Alice's parents. Most kids have 9 months to watch a belly grow, talk about names, feel the baby kick and wonder about a future sibling. 8 days isn't enough time and things weren't the easiest at first. Alice was 10 months old and needed a lot of attention and security as she bonded with Mark and I as her parents. We didn't venture out much after she came home and for a while we just kind of sat around our house marveling at our 'new normal'. It has been the greatest joy watching them form a bond. They seek each other out now to play and will randomly hug and say I love you. They are the sweetest!

I've had the amazing opportunity to photograph siblings in the studio and out. I love both! Capturing their unique bond is my goal and I strive for personality and creativity in each session.
